Where Were You on April 24, 2011?

In 16 short days, we will be celebrating Jesus' resurrection in a stadium in downtown Seattle. The upcoming Easter Celebration at Qwest Field is an unprecedented opportunity for our church—so visible, so accessible, and so unlike anything we’ve ever done before. For one day, a football stadium will become Mars Hill Church. Thousands of people will worship Jesus, many will hear the gospel for the first time, and hundreds will respond by getting baptized. By God’s grace, Easter 2011 will be a day you tell your grandkids about when you look back on the great works of the Holy Spirit in your lifetime. We certainly hope for more stadium-size services in the future, but this will be the only first. This is the beginning of whatever comes next. And we get to see it. We get to praise God for it. We get to be a part of it. In preparation for this Sunday, please prayerfully consider what you can give to the Easter Fund. We’ve already paid for almost half the costs. Together we have the resources to pull this off, no problem. What a gift God has given us, Mars Hill! Let’s make the most of it. How to give: Thank you!

It's All About Jesus

Jesus was a man who claimed to be God. Think on that for a minute. If that were true, how would it change the way you thought, felt, and lived this life?

At Mars Hill, we believe that Jesus is God. We take him at his word. Because of this, everything we do is all about Jesus. We invite you to learn more about this man who is God and how you can find forgiveness and new life in him.

What to Expect

Visiting a church for the first time can be nerve-racking. But having an idea of what to expect can help. There are three main parts to every Sunday service: preaching, worship, and kids. To learn more about each of these, click the links below.

We value community

Church is more than a service. It’s people living life together and helping one another throughout our cities to serve our cities. Each week, thousands of people at Mars Hill meet in hundreds of small communities to learn about God, pray, eat, laugh, and live. We call these Community Groups—and they’re the heart of our church.
