Mars Hill Church is so excited to be sending out short-term mission trips to Ethiopia in 2015! Jesus told us to “Go and make disciples of all the nations” (Matt. 28:19), and we are beyond excited to provide opportunities for our church family to do that!

In February 2014 ten Mars Hill pastors travelled to Ethiopia to train and equip to take you, our family members, on several more trips.
The purpose of these trips will be:
(1) to experience the church-planting ministry and encourage the Ethiopian evangelists whom we support,
(2) to experience the culture of Ethiopia, and
(3) to serve and minister to the people of Ethiopia. We are also praying that a short-term missions experience in Ethiopia sharing the gospel will increase your heart for the lost world around you in your local context once you return.
Also, if you sponsor a child in this region, this is a unique, potentially once-in-a-lifetime opportunity to meet them face-to-face through our partnership with Compassion International. During the Sponsor A Child Campaign, we promoted this future possibility. Here’s your chance!

There will be several trips in 2015 led by your pastors. These trips are 12 days long, including travel time.
You! There are only 15 open spaces available on each trip.
These trips will take place throughout 2015. The dates for each trip are currently being determined, and we will post them as soon as they become available.
Approximately $3,700. This will cover ALL of your transportation, food, and lodging expenses while on the 12-day trip. It includes your flight cost as well as all costs involved with meeting your sponsored Ethiopian Compassion child, as applicable.
