A Mars Hill Internship is a hands-on, roll-up-your-sleeves ministry opportunity where you will be trained and discipled by experienced ministry leaders. This is more than training—it’s an invitation to grow in your knowledge of God, increase your dependence on the Holy Spirit, and further the mission of Jesus. All internships are non-paid (although you may be eligible to earn school credit) and last from 9 to 14 months depending on where you serve.
You'll receive quality training by world-class teachers, pastors, and ministry staff. But more than head knowledge, you'll also get hands-on experience in various aspects of ministry, serving alongside fellow interns and experienced leaders to help advance God's kingdom.
You'll have opportunities to engage with God personally and profoundly through regular discipleship and personalized growth plans. This is not for the faint of heart. You will be challenged in your faith and tested in your calling.
You have room to grow. You'll thrive in an atmosphere that provides the structure needed for discipleship and the flexibility needed to change, be creative, and discover who God has designed you to be.

Choose a local church to contact about Internships
Students who are enrolled in Corban University through the Mars Hill Schools certificate program can elect to take an additional 1-credit Internship at a local Mars Hill Church. This credit will be applied towards your education at Corban.
Each Mars Hill Schools intern will be assigned to one of eight surrounding Mars Hill churches (Bellevue, Sammamish, Ballard, Shoreline, U-District, Downtown Seattle, West Seattle, or Rainier Valley). This is a great opportunity to serve a local church, gain practical ministry experience to supplement your education, and earn college credit at the same time.
A Mars Hill Schools internship is a 9-month commitment (October through May), although it may be extended through the Summer if students wish to continue serving. Our Leadership Development team reviews all applicants and upon approval will work with the interns and the local churches to find a placement that fits well with the local church needs as well as the interns needs for personal growth and development. Interns will work with their local church hosts to determine responsibilities that are sensitive to their school studies and other commitments.
