The story of the Bible is one of redemption. We reject and run from God—and God loves, pursues, and adopts us as his sons and daughters. In his plan of redemption, God sent Jesus to die a brutal death for our sins and defeat death through resurrection.
Today, Jesus works through his church to save and redeem sinners who rejected God, giving them new life in him—and God is working through Mars Hill to bring many to him. We celebrate what God is doing and what he will do at Mars Hill Church.
One of the last things Jesus said to his disciples, as recorded in Matthew 28:18–20 is, “All authority in heaven and on earth has been given to me. Go therefore and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, teaching them to observe all that I have commanded you. And behold, I am with you always, to the end of the age.”
It’s the simplicity of these words that drives Mars Hill Church, as we seek to make disciples of all nations, starting with our families, neighbors, coworkers, and friends.
Learn MoreThe way in which the first disciples of Jesus fulfilled his calling to make disciples was by planting churches that preached the gospel and cared for each other and their cities. At Mars Hill, we continue this tradition by making church planting a priority so that more people can meet Jesus.
