Get to know a couple men with hearts for our family and two of our newest lead pastors, Alex Early and Drew Hensley, in this clip where they sit down and talk Pastor Mark.
Both men were told when they were first accepted into the residency program that they’d be pastoring a church within a year—and within less than six months, they ended up both leading two Mars Hill churches, Ballard and U-District, respectively. All that said, though, as Pastor Drew says, it’s a massive opportunity.

Pastors Alex, Drew, Ryan, and Ryan represent the first class of Mars Hill’s Lead Pastor Residency Program, an intensive training designed to prepare men to lead a Mars Hill church within a single year. We’re currently looking for a few more men with leadership experience who feel called to be a lead pastor at a Mars Hill Church.
