R13 is coming (and it’s free online)

At Mars Hill Church, you might hear the word “Resurgence” mentioned often. If you don’t know what it is, Resurgence is a ministry of our church that aims to help leaders make disciples and plant churches. This includes leaders in our church and the church at large.

Pastor Mark heads up this ministry and has a heart to see churches grow by equipping leaders with timely methods rooted in timeless, biblical principles.

The current state of Christianity is an interesting one to say the least. As Pastor Mark wrote in a recent letter,

“The church is dying, and no one is noticing because we’re wasting time criticizing, rather than evangelizing. The days are darker, which means our resolve must be stronger and our convictions clearer.”

For this reason, timely methods of engaging today’s culture for Jesus are key. This is why we’re holding the 2013 Resurgence Conference on November 5th and 6th. We want to come together and remind one another of the faithfulness of God while calling each other to action and evangelism.

Pastor Mark along with his friends Rick Warren, Matt Chandler, Crawford Loritts, James MacDonald, and Greg Laurie will be speaking.

This year’s conference will be live at our historic Mars Hill Downtown Seattle church with broadcast to Bellevue, WA; Reno, NV; Orlando, FL; and Albuquerque, NM. Two of these broadcast locations are Mars Hill churches and each location will have an exclusive broadcast speaker.

Lastly, because we love giving away as much free stuff as possible, we’ve decided to live stream the whole event online for free. Head over to theresurgence.com/conference today to pick up a ticket or sign up for the free live stream.

God is faithful. He has called you. It’s your move.

It's All About Jesus

Jesus was a man who claimed to be God. Think on that for a minute. If that were true, how would it change the way you thought, felt, and lived this life?

At Mars Hill, we believe that Jesus is God. We take him at his word. Because of this, everything we do is all about Jesus. We invite you to learn more about this man who is God and how you can find forgiveness and new life in him.

What to Expect

Visiting a church for the first time can be nerve-racking. But having an idea of what to expect can help. There are three main parts to every Sunday service: preaching, worship, and kids. To learn more about each of these, click the links below.

We value community

Church is more than a service. It’s people living life together and helping one another throughout our cities to serve our cities. Each week, thousands of people at Mars Hill meet in hundreds of small communities to learn about God, pray, eat, laugh, and live. We call these Community Groups—and they’re the heart of our church.
