Mars Hill Church presents Easter 2014: Jesus Saves

On Easter we celebrate the risen savior who conquered Satan, sin, and death. But the weekend doesn’t begin with rejoicing. It begins with mourning. Our salvation cost God dearly, and the price he paid is insurmountable. On Good Friday, Mars Hill Church will host services at all of its locations, remembering the violence, the scandal, and the incredible price God himself paid to bring his wayward children home. Join us at one of our 15 churches in 5 states for Good Friday services on April 18th, or watch the live stream online.

“But he was pierced for our transgressions; he was crushed for our iniquities; upon him was the chastisement that brought us peace, and with his wounds we are healed.” Isaiah 53:5

Death, however, never gets the final word with Jesus. On the third day, he rose, alive and victorious over death itself. We can now be saved, not by our works, but by his. Come join us as we celebrate new life in him with gospel preaching, live music, and baptisms—all because Jesus saves!

“Believe in the Lord Jesus, and you will be saved.” Acts 16:31

Jesus is worth celebrating. Join us for Good Friday and Easter at Mars Hill Church as we celebrate together as one family. Service times for each of our locations are listed below. If you can’t attend in person, sign up for a new Global account to watch the free live stream of our services online and receive a free Vintage Jesus e-book from Pastor Mark Driscoll and a digital download from Mars Hill Music.

It's All About Jesus

Jesus was a man who claimed to be God. Think on that for a minute. If that were true, how would it change the way you thought, felt, and lived this life?

At Mars Hill, we believe that Jesus is God. We take him at his word. Because of this, everything we do is all about Jesus. We invite you to learn more about this man who is God and how you can find forgiveness and new life in him.

What to Expect

Visiting a church for the first time can be nerve-racking. But having an idea of what to expect can help. There are three main parts to every Sunday service: preaching, worship, and kids. To learn more about each of these, click the links below.

The Mars Hill Guide Leadership at Mars Hill

We value community

Church is more than a service. It’s people living life together and helping one another throughout our cities to serve our cities. Each week, thousands of people at Mars Hill meet in hundreds of small communities to learn about God, pray, eat, laugh, and live. We call these Community Groups—and they’re the heart of our church.

Cheerful givers wanted

Jesus is the most generous person who ever lived. He gave his life so that we might live. As Christians, we give our time, talent, and money joyfully in response to Jesus’ generosity and to help more people meet Jesus.
