Tope’s best sermon ever, Living by Faith, engages the question of regaining and reviving faith. Since the life of a Christian is a life of faith, everything is compromised when faith is compromised. We are saved by faith. We walk by faith. We live by faith. We are sustained by faith. Sometimes, however, we lose focus, lack faith, and live by the flesh. Be encouraged—even when we stumble into these areas, hope is not lost because Jesus is the author and perfecter of our faith. We don’t live by faith in our own power or by our own strength. Instead, we have the solid reassurance that we will be fully functioning agents for Jesus’ kingdom and missionaries to a lost world when we fix our eyes on him.
Tope has been married to his wife, Kemi, for 26 years and they have two teenage boys. He grew up in Nigeria and moved to London in 1990. He’s the lead pastor of Jubilee Church London, which he helped plant in 1995 and began leading in 2004. Tope is also involved in planting and supporting other churches internationally with Newfrontiers, a church-planting network with a strong affinity to the Acts 29 network and Mars Hill Church. Pastor Mark met Tope at a Newfrontiers event in London in 2008.
