Originally from Germany, he felt called to be a missionary at the age of 16 and moved to the United States at 20. He has served with parachurch organizations, been a lead pastor, and planted churches since leaving Germany. He is married to Andrea and together they have one son and three daughters. He enjoys skiing, soccer, golf, and hanging out with his wife and kids.
