“But when the fullness of time had come, God sent forth his Son, born of woman, born under the law, to redeem those who were under the law, so that we might receive adoption as sons. And because you are sons, God has sent the Spirit of his Son into our hearts, crying, ‘Abba! Father!’” Galatians 4:4–6
We’re excited to launch into our new sermon series, He Made Us Family: God’s Work, Our Witness, this upcoming Sunday, December 2. We know for some the theme of family can come across as scary or painful, but our God is a gracious, loving dad, and he continues to save and adopt more kids into his family. As a family, we’re made to be in right relationship with God through Jesus, and the way we relate to each other should be based in love, kindness, and care. Though none of us has picture-perfect families, Jesus is at work reconciling us to God as sons and daughters and to one another as brothers and sisters.
