Dustin Kensrue, the front man for the alternative rock band Thrice, was for many years a worship pastor at Mars Hill Church - both at Mars Hill Church Huntington Beach and Mars Hill Church Bellevue. While no longer at Mars Hill, we are thankful for the influence Dustin has had on the worship ministry at all of our Mars Hill churches.
This album, The Water and The Blood, produced at Mars Hill Church showcases Kensrue’s experience, talent, and whole-hearted reverence for God. He welds together doctrinal richness with memorable melodies, truly setting a challenge and raising the bar for worship music yet to come.
