Pray for the church in India

“‘Go therefore and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, teaching them to observe all that I have commanded you. And behold, I am with you always, to the end of the age.’” Matthew 28:19–20

Read Matthew 28:19–20

Jesus, you commissioned us to make disciples of all the nations. We ask that you would work mightily through the 33 church planters in India with whom we are partnered. We pray against Satan, his demons, his works and effects. Safeguard these pastors as they seek to shepherd your flock in other cultures. Give me a heart to see the opportunities you have given me to share the gospel with people from other cultures in my workplace and on my street.

Lord, thank you for these workers who are planting churches for your glory. Protect them; keep them safe from harm as they make you known. Planting a church is exhausting and difficult work. Give these church planters and their families good health and endurance for the work you have given them.

What is my role in giving you to the world, Jesus? Help me to consider where you have me right now and the people you have put into my path, especially those from cultures and worldviews that vary from my own. Even if I’m not planting a church, you have called me to be active in spreading the gospel to the world. Give me your heart for the people around me, regardless of our differences.

Amen.

It's All About Jesus

Jesus was a man who claimed to be God. Think on that for a minute. If that were true, how would it change the way you thought, felt, and lived this life?

At Mars Hill, we believe that Jesus is God. We take him at his word. Because of this, everything we do is all about Jesus. We invite you to learn more about this man who is God and how you can find forgiveness and new life in him.

What to Expect

Visiting a church for the first time can be nerve-racking. But having an idea of what to expect can help. There are three main parts to every Sunday service: preaching, worship, and kids. To learn more about each of these, click the links below.

The Mars Hill Guide Leadership at Mars Hill

We value community

Church is more than a service. It’s people living life together and helping one another throughout our cities to serve our cities. Each week, thousands of people at Mars Hill meet in hundreds of small communities to learn about God, pray, eat, laugh, and live. We call these Community Groups—and they’re the heart of our church.
