After 40 days of church wide prayer crowned with five days of fasting, the time has almost come to celebrate.
Join your local church tomorrow evening, January 10th, to break the fast and share in what God has done, is doing, and has yet to do.
Bellevue 5 p.m.
“On January 10th at 5 p.m. we will host a prayer night to conclude our 40 days of prayer campaign. We’ll proclaim the glory of God through worship and hear stories of God’s answers to prayer. Following the event we’ll go out to break our fast in the city.”
Ballard 6:30 p.m.
“Join us this Friday from 6:30–7:30 p.m. for a night of worship and prayer as we finish our 5-day fast.”
Everett 6 p.m.
“Before Jesus began his ministry, he prayed and fasted for 40 days. He spoke to his father and denied himself sustenance, so that his body’s cravings would become a focal point steering him to Almighty God. In the past month, we have had the chance to pray for God’s continued grace upon our church and for new opportunities, both locally and globally.
“As this season of prayer and fasting ends, please join us for an evening of prayer and worship as we celebrate together what God holds for us in 2014.”
Olympia 7 p.m.
“On Friday, January 10th, Mars Hill Olympia will gather together in our new building at 7:00 p.m. to hear the local vision for our church from Pastor Seth and to pray for everything we will be undertaking for the glory of Jesus. After the service we will be breaking our fast together in our commons space. We are encouraging everyone to bring a light soup and bread to serve as a simple meal to break our fast with.”
Downtown 6:30 p.m.

We’ll proclaim the glory of God through worship and hear stories of God’s answers to prayer. Following the event we’ll go out to break our fast in the city.”
U-District 6 p.m.
“On January 10th at 6 p.m. we will host a prayer night to conclude our 40 days of prayer campaign. We’ll proclaim the glory of God through worship and hear stories of God’s answers to prayer. We will have light bites to help your transition off of the fast!”
Shoreline 6:30 p.m.
“We’ll be gathering together Friday night to finish the fast. We’re having a family-style prayer service so the whole family can attend together (yep, we’ll have crayons and coloring books for the little ones). We’ll sing and pray for the first hour and then we’ll break our fast together as a church family with a potluck dinner. Bring something yummy to share and we’ll see you Friday night!”
Sammamish 6 p.m.
“On January 10th at 6 p.m. we will host a prayer night and break-fast celebration to conclude our 40 days of prayer campaign. We’ll proclaim the glory of God through singing, praying, and breaking our fast together at MOD Pizza following the service.”
Tacoma 7 p.m.
“At the end of our 40 days of prayer and five day fast, we’ll come together as a congregation for one last evening of prayer, worship, and vision for our official launch that weekend.”
Huntington Beach 7 p.m.
“As our 40 days of prayer and 5-day fast come to a close, we’ll be meeting together in our new church for an evening of prayer, worship, and vision before our official launch this Sunday.”
Portland 6:30 p.m.
“Our period of fasting, which began January 5th, will culminate with a gathering at the Castle. Join us for an evening of prayer, song, and finger foods to break our fasts and celebrate together what God holds for us at Mars Hill in the new year.”
Albuquerque 6:30 p.m.
“We will come together on Friday night to pray together and then go out into our city to break the fast.”
Phoenix 6 p.m.
“We will meet this Friday from 6–7:30 p.m. at Bentley (our usual meeting place) to break the fast together by eating a meal and praying. It will be very low key, nothing too big, but a good time for fellowship, food, and prayer. Bring everything you need for a meal for your family plus a side dish or desert to share. Everything includes plates, utensils, and beverages. We will provide the napkins.”
