Pray for our central operations

“As you come to him, a living stone rejected by men but in the sight of God chosen and precious, you yourselves like living stones are being built up as a spiritual house, to be a holy priesthood, to offer spiritual sacrifices acceptable to God through Jesus Christ.” 1 Peter 2:4–5

Read 1 Peter 2:4–8

Lord, we know that you love your church—you are her cornerstone. Mars Hill is in need of a larger facility for central operations so that we can continue to have an impact for the gospel across the globe. Give us favor with the City of Bellevue. Please remind me to pray often for the acquisition of the new home that you have planned for Mars Hill.

Lord, these are big decisions, but you are bigger. The process of finding a facility can be stressful, and I pray that our leaders would not be discouraged but encouraged as they lean on you, the all-powerful Creator of the universe. Lord, may our leaders get more of Jesus, the cornerstone of your church, as they look to faithfully build your church.

I pray over the new facility that you have in store. I pray that it would be a blessing to the city, the community, the employees, and the students who would come from all over to learn more about you through Mars Hill Schools. May this facility create more space, for more lives, for more transformations, all with a view of building a legacy in the name, and for the fame, of Jesus Christ.

Amen.

Thank you for praying and giving to be a part of our year-end campaign to raise $2 million above and beyond our normal giving. It's All About Jesus

Jesus was a man who claimed to be God. Think on that for a minute. If that were true, how would it change the way you thought, felt, and lived this life?

At Mars Hill, we believe that Jesus is God. We take him at his word. Because of this, everything we do is all about Jesus. We invite you to learn more about this man who is God and how you can find forgiveness and new life in him.

What to Expect

Visiting a church for the first time can be nerve-racking. But having an idea of what to expect can help. There are three main parts to every Sunday service: preaching, worship, and kids. To learn more about each of these, click the links below.

The Mars Hill Guide Leadership at Mars Hill

We value community

Church is more than a service. It’s people living life together and helping one another throughout our cities to serve our cities. Each week, thousands of people at Mars Hill meet in hundreds of small communities to learn about God, pray, eat, laugh, and live. We call these Community Groups—and they’re the heart of our church.

Cheerful givers wanted

Jesus is the most generous person who ever lived. He gave his life so that we might live. As Christians, we give our time, talent, and money joyfully in response to Jesus’ generosity and to help more people meet Jesus.
