Lord, you say that you will remind your followers of all you have said. Please empower those who will be speaking at the Jesus Festival to speak your words boldly and clearly. Thank you for the Holy Spirit who reminds me of all you have taught me. We ask for you to draw a large crowd, convict them of their sin, and lead them to repentance and faith in your son Jesus Christ. I pray that you would bless them and their families today.
Thank you for often using open-air preachers, like Jonah, Jeremiah, Paul, and Jesus, to publically proclaim your Word. And thank you for George Whitefield, Charles Spurgeon, D.L. Moody, Billy Graham, and Greg Laurie for personifying these examples with their life and ministry.
Father, I ask that you would fill me with the Holy Spirit (Eph. 5:18), who will empower me to be a courageous witness for Jesus. I ask that you would grant me an opportunity to share the gospel with one of my family members, friends, or acquaintances. Stir my faith and confidence that you will equip me with the words to speak for the work of the ministry. Give me an opportunity to share my faith today.
