Pray for unity between local churches

“There is one body and one Spirit—just as you were called to the one hope that belongs to your call—one Lord, one faith, one baptism, one God and Father of all, who is over all and through all and in all.” Ephesians 4:4–6

Read Ephesians 4:4–6

Lord, just as you have saved us to one body through one Spirit, we pray that the Jesus Festival would unify your local churches, that we might come together to make much of your name. We pray that the unification of local churches would be a clear display of how you have restored us into one body through grace. Holy Spirit, please show me how I can support brothers and sisters across local churches.

Lord I thank you for all the different expressions of churches that you are using to make disciples. Thank you that you are using different methods, in different contexts, all to point people to the person and work of Jesus. I thank you for the many pastors and church members with different gifts and talents who are partnering together to see a greater impact for your glory, a greater impact than we could ever see in isolation.

Thank you for such a broad church family to be a part of, with one Father in Heaven who rejoices over our unity. May this broad church family continue to grow in numbers and in unity over the coming year. Lord, I pray that this growth would culminate in an amazing celebration of your grace and provision at the Jesus Festival in the summer of 2014. May it be a time in which rejoicing abounds in our hearts and yours over the unity we have in Jesus, in ways we can’t even imagine today.

Thank you for praying and giving to be a part of our year-end campaign to raise $2 million above and beyond our normal giving. It's All About Jesus

Jesus was a man who claimed to be God. Think on that for a minute. If that were true, how would it change the way you thought, felt, and lived this life?

At Mars Hill, we believe that Jesus is God. We take him at his word. Because of this, everything we do is all about Jesus. We invite you to learn more about this man who is God and how you can find forgiveness and new life in him.

What to Expect

Visiting a church for the first time can be nerve-racking. But having an idea of what to expect can help. There are three main parts to every Sunday service: preaching, worship, and kids. To learn more about each of these, click the links below.

The Mars Hill Guide Leadership at Mars Hill

We value community

Church is more than a service. It’s people living life together and helping one another throughout our cities to serve our cities. Each week, thousands of people at Mars Hill meet in hundreds of small communities to learn about God, pray, eat, laugh, and live. We call these Community Groups—and they’re the heart of our church.

Cheerful givers wanted

Jesus is the most generous person who ever lived. He gave his life so that we might live. As Christians, we give our time, talent, and money joyfully in response to Jesus’ generosity and to help more people meet Jesus.
